Finca La Palta, owned and run by Ysidro Banda, is situated in the Chrinos District of the San Ignacio Province within the Cajamarca Department of Peru. La Palta is a certified organic farm occupying 1 ha of land with some 5000 coffee plants growing on it. The farm is located in the forested and mountainous area that is full of native flora and fauna.

Harvest takes place from May to November. The coffee is washed three times with clean water within 24 hours of being picked. Subsequently, it is dried on raised beds for 20-30 days. Ysidro is passionate about the quality of his coffee and he and his family continuously strive to improve the farm infrastructure and well being of the coffee trees.

This coffee is certified organic.
